NEW TIME FOR PARADE!!  This year our Family Walk (parade) is starting at

9 am. rather than the usual start time of 9:30. The road will be closed from 9-10:30. 

 

Alternate routes will be posted if you are going into South Crest. All participants will need to show up for Judging at 8am.  We will have signs at South Lane Park which will give the order of the parade. 

 

Here is the order in case you cannot see the signs: 

 

First are the fire engines, then, CREST HISTORY ON PARADE, our Parade Grand Marshals:  Dan Wilson, Dorothy Miller, and Virginia Fortham.  Next, are Politicians, the floats, then the motorcycle club of Crest with all motorcycle riders. 

 

 Please note that all motorcycles need to stay in a group due to safety and other animals and people in the parade. Please do not pass the fire engines! 

 

Next are the tractors, cars, and antiques. Following that are the golf carts, Rhinos, floats, groups and organizations, and finally the animals. We could use your help to keep everyone organized. 

 

 If you have an animal, please keep you animals in the large arena or on the backside of the park.  Jeff Stenmo and Kandhy Franklin will help with the line up.

 

Please note: No 'Hotrodding" and Reckless Behavior on the route, or before and after the parade.  You must wear a helmet if you are on a motorcycle or quad. Children must wear a helmet while on their bikes.   Stay in your group while on the parade or you will be asked to leave!
